Boozy Orange Maple Syrup

This recipe is…. Simple. Easy. And, delicious when drizzled onto  Southern Style Chickn’ and Sweet Potato Waffles.




  1. In a small saucepan,  bring the Muscadine wine, orange juice, and orange zest to a rolling boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add in the maple syrup and cayenne pepper, stirring to combine.
  4. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 8 minutes more.
  5. Reduce heat to lowest setting to keep the syrup hot while you prepare your waffles.
